You're only human and sometimes as a facilitator you might accidentally award a badge by mistake. You can easily revoke that badge and then re-award it later if needed.
How to revoke a badge
Head to the Class console and and use the search to find the learner for whom you need to revoke the badge. You will see the badge icon with Awarded. Underneath you will see the option to Revoke now).
Select the badge button to open the badge information modal.
Fill in the Reason field.
Then select Revoke Badge.
This will immediately update the status of the badge to revoked and notify the learner.
This will now show on the learner's progress page with a revoked label and any reason below.
If anyone views and verifies the badge they will also see the badge revoked information.
How to re-award a badge
Go to Class console and use the search to find the learner. You will see the badge icon, name of the badge and it will say Revoked underneath it.
Select the badge button.
Then choose Republish Badge. This will immediately update the status of the badge to Awarded and notify the learner.
