You have a few options when it comes to Iris Works checking your external calendar.

By default, Iris Works will not take any connected external calendars into consideration when scheduling. You can choose to have Iris Works consider your external calendar when providing booking availability options to your client(s). This can be found in My Settings > Settings > Booking Set Up > Menu (three dots) > toggle on the option to consider external calendar events.

Additionally, if you have only certain appointments in your external calendar that you do not want Iris Works to consider, mark those appointments as Free in your external calendar. Doing this will ensure that they will not be viewed as busy or conflicting appointments.
