Importing Your Client Information

Importing Your Client Information:

First, use the chat bubble to reach out to support and ask them to turn on the client import option for you. It is not on automatically to prevent spam.

Upload a CSV file with the below column headings and your client’s information, and we’ll instantly add them to your Iris Works client list.

* When adding "yes" to the email_marketing column, you are confirming you have the client's permission to send them promotional emails.

* The client_status column needs to be populated with one of these values (client, lead, marketing contact)

Required Columns: (These can not be left blank)

  • first_name

  • last_name

  • email

  • phone

  • email_marketing

  • client_status

Optional Columns: (must have columns listed but the information can be left blank)

  • birthday

  • alternate_email

  • secondary_phone

  • address

  • city

  • state

  • zip

  • country (Country codes must be 2 characters only. Example United States = US)

  • wedding_date

  • notes

*Important Note: If you are uploading a list that includes clients that already in your client list and you add them as marketing contacts in the client status column it will remove them and their data from your client list. Be sure to mark current clients as a client in the client_status column.
