Opening items live

How to choose to open or keep sealed an item bought in a live, and what changes once it is opened.

Written by Kaio Souza

Opening items live

In some lives, the seller opens the purchased items live, such as boosters, packs or sealed boxes. Because opening changes the item for good, there are specific rules for these products.

What you'll learn

  • How you choose whether your item is opened or shipped sealed

  • What changes once the item is opened

  • What sellers must respect

How the choice works

  1. You win the sale and complete the payment.

  2. For products the seller marked for live opening, the app asks: Permitir a abertura deste item ao vivo? (allow this item to be opened live?)

  3. Tap Abrir (open) for the seller to open the item in the live, or choose not to open it to receive the item sealed.

The choice is made for each purchase and you have a few seconds to answer. If you don't answer, the item stays sealed.

The seller sees your choice in the list of sold items, as Aberto (opened) or Lacrado (sealed), and can only open the item if you allowed it.

Important rules

  • Opened item: when you allow it and the item is opened live, it is considered used. It cannot be cancelled or returned under the right of withdrawal. The guarantees provided by law still apply

  • Sealed item: if you chose not to open it, the item is shipped sealed and follows the normal cancellation and refund rules

  • Random outcome: the content of a pack is random and cannot be influenced by the seller or by Jamble

Refunds and cancellations

An item opened live with your permission is not refunded just because:

  • The content did not meet your expectations

  • The value of what came out was lower than you expected

If there is a real problem with the item, for example if it does not match what was listed, contact support.

For sellers

  • Only open live the items the buyer allowed to be opened

  • Frequent cancellations may lead to account restrictions
