Raid another seller's live

What you'll learn

A raid sends your viewers to another seller's live when you're ending yours. It's a way to support the community and build ties with other Jamble sellers. This guide shows how to raid, what your viewers see, and what the other seller gets. Raids work on iPhone, on Android, and in the live on your computer.

Before you start

You need:

  • An approved seller account on Jamble

  • One of your lives on air

  • At least one other seller live at the same time

  • No battle running. If there is one, end the battle before ending the live

How a raid works

The raid happens when you end the live. Instead of your viewers just leaving, they get an invite to go to the live you chose. Raids and battles are different features: a battle is a competition inside your own live.

Step 1: start ending the live

Open the live menu and tap Encerrar Live (End live). Before it closes, the O Raid do Jamble (The Jamble Raid) screen shows.

The Jamble Raid screen with your photo, the send icon, and the Select Live Show and End without Raid buttons

You have two options:

  • Selecionar Live (Select live; on Android, Selecionar uma Live): choose the live that will receive your viewers

  • Encerrar sem Raid (End without raid; on Android, Finalizar Sem Raid): end right away, with no raid

On Android, if no other seller is live, the app goes straight to the end confirmation.

Step 2: choose the live

The Selecione uma Live (Select a live) screen shows the lives on air right now, except yours. You don't need to follow the seller to choose their live.

Select a Live screen with cards of lives on air, one of them selected, and the Select Live Show button

Tap the live you want to support and confirm with Selecionar Live (Select live; on Android, Continuar, Continue).

If no other live is on air, the screen says there are no lives to raid yet. In that case, end your live as usual.

Step 3: end the live

After you confirm, the raid is sent right away and Sucesso! (Success!) shows.

Tap Encerrar Live (End live; on Android, Finalizar Live) to finish your broadcast. Until you tap it, you're still on air, so take the chance to say goodbye.

What your viewers see

As soon as the raid is sent, everyone in your live sees a notice that you're raiding the other seller's live, with a button to join it. Depending on the device, they join by tapping the button or are taken there automatically after a few seconds.

What the other seller gets

A special message shows in the chat of the live that received the raid, saying you're arriving and how many people came with you. Everyone in the chat sees it, which usually brings a wave of welcomes.

Important rules

  • One raid per live. After you send it, you can't raid again from the same live

  • Any live on air can receive it. Yours doesn't show in the list

  • No raid during a battle. End the battle first

  • Your live only ends when you confirm. The raid alone doesn't end the broadcast

Tips

  • Pick sellers in the same category. Your viewers tend to stay if the other live has similar items

  • Say it first. Tell your viewers on air which live you'll send everyone to

  • Raids build ties. Sellers remember who raided their live

  • Even a small audience helps. A few extra people already make a difference for the receiver
