Jenni’s AI Edit feature helps you quickly improve, rephrase, or transform any part of your writing — right from the editor.

How to Use AI Edit

  1. Highlight any section of text you want to improve.

  2. Click “AI Edit” on the floating menu.

  3. Choose from the built-in options, or type your own custom prompt.


Built-in Options

Jenni offers preset options to help edit your writing easily.

Edit or Review

  • Improve fluency

  • Paraphrase in a specific tone (academic, persuasive, etc.)

  • Simplify in a specific tone (academic, persuasive, etc.)

  • Make Longer

  • Translate to 35+ languages

Generate from Selection

  • Summarize

  • Write opposing argument

  • Write with more depth


Writing Custom Prompts

After highlighting any section of text, you can also enter your own custom prompt to edit your writing exactly how you need.

Preview & Apply

After Jenni generates a suggestion, you’ll see a preview of the output. You can then choose to:

  • Replace selection – swap your original text with the AI’s suggestion

  • Insert below – add the suggestion below your current text

  • 🔁 Try again – generate a different version

  • Discard – cancel the edit and keep your original
