How to Update Your Charity Details

What Will We Learn Here?

The "Account Settings" page is your control panel. Here you can manage official information, update contact persons, maintain account security, and determine how the organization looks to the public—including the new feature of adding team members.

In this guide, we will clarify what you can update independently and what requires assistance from our support team.

Once you log in to the charity's account, navigate to the 'Account Settings' page using the side menu.

How to Access Account Settings

  1. Log in to the system and click on your Profile Picture (the circle with an image or initials) in the top left corner.

  2. In the menu that opens, click on your Organization Name.

  3. In the right-side menu, click on "Account Settings" (the gear icon).

You will now see two main tabs at the top: General and Display.

Tab 1: General (Management & Official Details)

This tab contains the technical and official details of the account.

What Can You Update Independently?

  • Contact Person: Click on the row to expand it. Here you can update the Name, Phone, and Email of the contact person (this is the address where ongoing updates are sent). When finished, click "Update Contact Details".

What Requires Support Assistance? 🔒

The following details are locked for editing to ensure regulatory compliance. To change them, please contact support@jgive.com:

  • Official Details: The official organization name and registration number.

  • Bank Account: The bank details where donation funds are transferred.

  • Authorized Signatories: The list of emails for the account's authorized signatories.


Tab 2: Display (The Face of the Organization)

Here you determine how your organization's page looks to donors. All changes here are independent and immediate.

1. Team Members

Want to give a personal touch? Showcase the people behind the work.

  1. Click on "Team Members".

  2. Add a new team member or edit an existing one.

  3. Details you can add: Photo, Full Name, Role (in Hebrew and English).

  4. Contact: Check the box "Show email on organization page" if you want to allow donors to contact this team member directly.

  5. To finish, don't forget to click "Save".

2. Messages to Donors

Here you can edit the text that appears in the automated Thank You email sent to the donor immediately after a donation.

3. Organization Logo

The exact dimensions for the logo are 150×150 pixels.

  • Important Note: Uploading a logo here changes it on the JGive website, but not on the receipts. To update the logo that appears on tax receipts, please send the file to support@jgive.com.
