At Fridays, we work closely with a network of trusted compounding pharmacies to provide high-quality, affordable compounded medications to patients across the U.S.—with the exception of Louisiana.
Key Information
Accredited & Tested
All partner pharmacies are 503A-accredited and required to submit independent third-party testing to ensure efficacy, purity, and sterility.
Pharmaceutical-Grade Ingredients
We only use pharmaceutical-grade ingredients in the GLP-1 compounds—never research grade.
Base Form, Not Salt Form
All GLP-1 medications are compounded using the base form of the active ingredient, not the salt form.
IMPORTANT NOTE
The pharmacy your compounded medication is shipped from is predetermined based on your specific dosage and location. Pharmacies are selected based on multiple factors such as geographic location, specific dosages required, and compliance with state and legal regulations. This ensures that medications are prepared efficiently and align with safety and regulatory standards.
We cannot control or change which pharmacy fulfills your order.
Discussing Preferences with Your Healthcare Provider
Although pharmacy selection cannot be directly controlled by patients, you can share specific concerns or preferences with your healthcare provider. During medical appointments, you may:
Address concerns about current medications or compounded prescriptions.
Highlight specific needs that providers can consider for future orders. Final pharmacy assignments will still depend on factors such as location, dosage, and state regulations. This is due to logistical and regulatory constraints aimed at maintaining consistent quality and safety. Assignments are tailored to match clinical appropriateness and legal standards.
Shipping
Once your provider reviews and approves your refill request, your medication will be shipped within 5–7 business days.
You’ll receive a tracking number by email (via FedEx, UPS, or USPS) once the shipping label is created.
You can also monitor shipment status in your ‘My Meds’ section of the patient portal.
What Comes in Each Package of Medication?
Each package includes:
1 medication vial
8 syringes
Alcohol pads
Syringes provided with your medication should only be used once. Proper disposal of syringes after use is crucial for maintaining hygiene and safety. Check your local guidelines for approved methods of disposing medical waste.
Note:
All shipments include ice packs to maintain refrigeration—except if your medication is shipped from SSP Pharmacy. SSP’s compounded medication is shelf-stable and does not require ice packs.
