Wegovy at Fridays
Fridays now offers brand-name Wegovy (semaglutide), an FDA-approved weight loss medication from Novo Nordisk, available in two forms:
Wegovy Pill (Oral Semaglutide) — taken daily as a tablet. Best for patients who prefer a needle-free, discreet daily routine.
Wegovy Pen (Injectable Semaglutide) — a weekly subcutaneous injection. Best for patients who want maximum convenience and consistent results.
How Billing Works — Two Separate Charges
Wegovy has two distinct charges. This is different from other Fridays plans.
Membership covers platform access, provider oversight, and titration management. It is charged upfront at checkout for your full plan length.
Medication covers the actual prescription. It is charged monthly, after your provider approves your dose. The medication cost changes as your dose increases during titration.
Your first month membership is $49 regardless of plan length.

Note: The 7.2mg (highest) dose requires titration. Patients cannot start at the highest dose; they must step up through the standard dose ladder first.
Wegovy Pill — Taking It Correctly
The oral tablet has strict compliance requirements. Missing these steps reduces how well the medication is absorbed.
Take it at the same time every morning. Your stomach must be empty — no food for at least 8 hours before. Take it with exactly 4oz of plain water only. Wait 30 full minutes before eating, drinking anything (including coffee or additional water), or taking other medications.
If you forgot a dose: take it the next morning. Do not take two doses to make up for a missed one.
If you drank coffee or ate sooner than 30 minutes: follow the protocol for your next dose.
Eligibility
Wegovy is available to new Fridays customers through standard checkout. Current or former Fridays customers interested in switching to Wegovy should contact support — this is a manual process handled by the support team and cannot be completed through the patient portal.
Refund and Cancellation
Membership: If a provider determines you are medically disqualified mid-plan on a multi-month subscription, a prorated refund may apply. Outside of medical disqualification, membership charges are not refunded.
Medication: No refunds once medication has been prescribed.
