What kind of treatments do we provide?
At Livewell, we provide care in the following categories:

Am I eligible for weight-loss medication
This depends on your practitioner's assessment, which is based on the medical information you have provided and that we have requested from you.
However, if you are deemed ineligible for treatment, you will be notified and you will NOT be charged.
I want to discuss with the medical team, can you open the chat
Before submitting your request, please note:
If you have medical questions related to your treatment, and your medical chat is closed, but it’s still within one year of the date your prescription was issued, please contact our support team first. We can help reopen your medical chat so your prescriber can assist you directly.

I am experiencing side effects and want to discuss with the medical team
If you are experiencing side effects from your medication, please use the medical chat on the messaging tab of your patient dashboard for medical questions or to discuss your medication or dosages. You can view and send messages directly to your prescribing medical professional using the feature located in the messaging tab of your patient dashboard. This allows you to discuss your medication with your prescribing medical professional.
If your medical chat is closed but it is still within a year of the date your prescription was issued, please contact our support team through live chat or email at support@joinlivewell.ca to request the reopening of your medical chat.
The medication is not effective, I would like to discuss alternative treatments with the medical team
If you'd like to explore an alternative medication I suggest that you complete a prescription renewal:
To get a prescription renewal, you'll need to complete a follow-up consultation. To start this consultation, you can click on the "Renew Prescription" button on the Subscriptions tab of your patient dashboard, or at the following link: https://joinlivewell.ca/account/subscriptions.
During the renewal, you will discuss your side effects (if any) and will be able to request a new medication.
After you complete the follow up, please use the medical chat to discuss your medication/treatment options directly with your prescribing medical professional.
The medical team is taking a long time to respond
If the medical team has not responded to your message in 2-3 business days, please contact our support team through live chat or email at support@joinlivewell.ca.
I want to cancel my consultation request
If you have not yet been deemed eligible for medical treatment by a medical practitioner, please use the following link to cancel your consultation request:
Once you submit your cancellation, the hold on your credit card will be automatically removed. Please note that it may take up to 10 business days for the amount to disappear from your account. If the hold has not been removed after 10 business days, please contact our support team through live chat or email at support@joinlivewell.ca.
I want a refund for my consultation
If you have submitted your request for consultation and a practitioner has not yet reviewed your medical profile or contacted you, please refer to the "I want to cancel my consultation request" section to request a reimbursement.
Please note that if your practitioner has reviewed your medical request and determined you eligible for treatment, reimbursement is not available.
