Transactions page overview

The transactions page contains a list of Karta account transactions that users can view depending on their role.

What information does the Transactions page provide?

The Transactions page provides information on personal and company transactions with further details:

  • The Date column shows the day and month of the transaction.

  • The Transaction column presents the source or destination of the transaction alongside with the transaction status.

  • If a transaction is Decline or Reversed, hovering your cursor over the status will display the reason for such status. If any of the statuses are unclear, you can contact our support team via live chat for further clarification.

    • Additionally, we encourage our clients to reach out to us to ensure their transactions remain in good standing.

  • The Amount column depicts the payment amount, status, and whether it's an outgoing or incoming payment.

    • Hovering your cursor over the transaction amount will display the fees applied to that specific transaction.

  • The User column in the company transactions depicts the user who made the transaction.

  • The Budget section shows the Budget from which the transaction was made.

  • The Payment Method section reveals the transaction types. If it's a card transaction, the column shows the name of the merchant and the last four digits of the card alongside with the Account name from which the transaction was made.

  • The filters above the columns help to sort transaction information by name, user, account, currency, card, budget, counterparty, payment account, status, method and date. Also, you can export the data to a CSV file.

  • Additionally, you can view the total amount spent in USD within the selected timeframe. Hovering your cursor over the details will display information such as:

    • Spent

    • Pending

    • Income

    • Fees

    • Declined

    • Undefined

What is the difference between the Personal and Company transactions tabs?

  • The Personal tab shows the list of the transactions of a specific user made inside the Karta account and from cards.

  • The Company tab displays a list of all the transactions on the Karta account.

    • Information access depends on the role in the account and in the Budget:

    • The account owner, account admins, and bookkeepers can view all the transactions.

    • Budget managers can view all the transactions within their Budgets.

    • Budget members can view only their personal transactions.

    • The roles within budgets can be different from the account roles. An employee can be a member or a manager of a budget.
