a. ACCOUNTS - On this page, you can track your accounts.

There are two types of accounts:

-Karta accounts - here you can create sub accounts and link to your budgets. This is a great tool to manage your funds.

-External accounts- are financial applications connected to your Karta account through integration with the Plaid platform. The goal of connecting is to track the transaction history from all of the apps in one place.

To find your External accounts information, you can go to the Accounts section and switch to the External accounts tab.

-Move money - with this option, you can add/receive money, send funds, or transfer between accounts.

A Budget is a feature that enables you to set up custom departments, project teams, branches, workspaces, or groups, allowing you to allocate your Primary account budget among them. You can create as many Budgets as needed. We recommend starting with the most significant ones, as you can always refine them later by adding specific Budget members and cards. Read more.

Cards in Karta do not have individual balances. Instead, they are linked to the Primary Account balance, from which transactions are made. You can control spending on your card (or an employee's card) by setting card limits. Read more.

The transactions page displays a list of Karta account transactions that users can view based on their role. Read more.

Counterparty is a person or company with whom you have made any financial transactions recorded in our system, such as transfers and receipt of funds, as well as card payments. Read more.

f. TEAM

In this section, you can add new team members and assign them to the appropriate workspaces. You'll also find a list of all members along with their detailed information.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Q: Can l use your cards for shopping?

A: Please note that according to our Terms of Use, your Karta account is for business purposes, not personal use (your account can accept business payments, and you can make only business purchases at merchants from your account).

  2. Q: Can I use your service for the first billing?
A: We enforce strict limitations for first billers, as such use cases are prohibited by our Terms of Use. This policy is in place to maintain the functionality of our BINs and ensure smooth operations for all users of our service.

  3. Q: I have just created a new account and deposited, why can't I create new cards?

A: It is important to create a budget before creating a card. Budgets are the way to control expenses, you set a limit for each budget and then another limit for a card within the budget.
