External Accounts Page Overview

What are External accounts?

External accounts are financial applications connected to your Karta account through integration with the Plaid platform. The goal of connecting is to track the transaction history from all of the apps in one place.

To find your External accounts information, you can go to the Accounts section and switch to the External accounts tab.

What actions can I perform on this page?

Here you can manage your External accounts and perform the following actions:

  • link new account,

  • edit and unlink your account, and

  • relink your account if the connection to Plaid is interrupted.

What information can I see on the External accounts page?

On the External accounts page, you can view the list of connected apps, the last four digits of the account numbers, the balance, and last month's spending. You can find the transaction history of the connected app by just clicking on it.

Linking an External account

To link a new external account, click the + Connect external account button at the top right of your screen. In the appeared Plaid interface, select your bank and go through the Plaid verification process to connect your account.

Editing an External account

To edit an External account, click on it, open the Edit dropdown list on the left side of your screen and select the option you need. Here you can change the account name or unlink the account.
