If you're trying to place a transaction in a Kernel Fund and notice the buy or sell button is greyed out, it's usually because there is already a transaction processing for that fund.
Kernel does not support buying and selling the same fund at the same time. A processing transaction must be completed before a new transaction in the opposite direction can be submitted.
When will the button be greyed out?
For a specific fund:
If you have a buy transaction processing, the sell button will be unavailable until the buy has completed.
If you have a sell transaction processing, the buy button will be unavailable until the sell has completed.
This restriction only applies to the fund with the processing transaction. You can still transact in other funds.
Can I buy and sell different funds at the same time?
Yes. You can transact across different funds. The restriction only applies when both transactions involve the same fund.
How do I know if a transaction is still processing?
You can verify the status of your orders by visiting your Activity page. To do this:
Log in to your Kernel account.
Select Activity from the main navigation menu.
