How do I close my account?

If you have decided that you would prefer not to invest or save with us, you can simply leave your Kernel account open and not be charged any fees. This way, if you would like to start investing with us again in the future, you can do so at any time without going through the process of setting up another account.

If you find that you have a double-up of accounts or would like to close your account completely, there are a few steps you can follow:

Step 1: Sell out of all funds you are invested in.

Step 2: Once the money has landed in your Kernel wallet, withdraw it to your nominated bank account from your Kernel wallet.

Step 3: Now that you're not invested in funds and your account has no money in it, please send the Kernel team an email to support@kernelwealth.co.nz asking for your account to be closed. We'll close this from our end manually.
