Our multi-account feature allows you to switch between your individual account and your child's account within one login. This feature enables management of child accounts, including switching and overseeing account activities.

Accessing and switching to a child’s account
Log in to your Kernel account: Start by logging into your Kernel account at Kernel login.
Use the switch account feature: Click on your profile icon located in the top-right corner of the menu bar. From the dropdown menu, select the child account you wish to access.
Switch back to your account: After managing the child’s account, you can return to your own account by using the switch-back option available on the ‘Overview’ page. Click on the 'Switch back to my account' link at the top of the page, below the menu bar.
Managing deposits for child accounts: Each child account has a unique deposit reference code. This code ensures that funds are allocated correctly to the child’s account wallet. When making deposits use the child’s specific reference code provided in their wallet top-up area, to avoid delays in fund allocation.
Can more than one parent or guardian access a child's account?
At the moment, a child account can only be linked to one parent or guardian (the account administrator). We don't currently support linking the same child account to multiple adult individual profiles or sharing access between separate Kernel logins.
We understand this would be a valuable feature for many families, and we're continuing to consider customer feedback as we plan future improvements.
Can a child's account be linked to my joint account?
Yes, a child account can be created under a joint account structure. However, please note that current system limitations mean only one member of the joint account can be designated as the administrator with login access to the child's profile.
The other party to the joint account will not be able to see or switch into the child's account from their own login at this stage.
