What’s new

  • Data continuity: You can now update custom metrics year over year while keeping data links intact.

  • Workspace organisation: The new nested view makes metric management cleaner and easier.

  • New Filters and Search: To make finding your metrics even easier, you can now Filter your list by Category (e.g., "Environment") and Status (e.g., show only your Drafts). You can also use the Search bar to find metric groups by name.

  • Precision in Data Requests: Clicking on a Custom Metric will now prompt you to select the exact version (e.g., "2025 Draft") you want to send out, giving you full control.

  • Cleaner Report Outputs: In the question editor, you can now set a Report Output Title for any question. This lets you have a long, detailed question for data collection but a short, clean title for your final reports and dashboards.

Managing Metrics in the Metric Manager

The Metric Manager has been redesigned for clarity and control:

Metrics now appear in a nested view:

  • The main element is the Metric Group.

  • The elements inside are the different Metric Versions (e.g., “2024 Final Report”, “2025 Draft”).

Filters help you find what you need faster:

  • By Category: Environment, Social, Governance, etc.

  • By Status: Show only Drafts or Active versions.

  • Search bar: Quickly locate metrics by name.

Creating and Editing Metric Versions

Cloning for a New Year

To start a new version:

  1. In the Metric Manager, find an Active version.

2. Select Clone to create a Draft version.

3. The new Draft includes all questions from the previous year and is ready for editing.

Editing in the Draft

  1. Click Edit Draft to open the Metric Group Editor.

  2. Within it, open any Question Group to add, remove, or modify questions.

3. Each cloned question includes a badge — “Active in: [Year]” — so you know which have historical data.

Report Output Title

You can now define a Report Output Title - a short, clear label that appears in reports, while the full question remains detailed in data collection.

  1. Click Edit Draft to open the Metric Group Editor.

  2. Within it, open any Question Group to add, remove, or modify questions.

  3. In the metric editor, find the ‘Change display title in reports’ toggle and turn this on

  4. Write your desired display title
