Overview

  • Granular visibility into data collection progress

  • Clear, in-platform communication with the right stakeholders

  • Improved control and oversight across entities and reporting periods

Progress overview addresses long‑standing challenges around tracking progress and coordinating data requests at scale.

Please note: Progress overview is only available to Admin users

What the progress overview includes

The new Progress Overview dashboards provide a clear, interactive overview of data request completion:

  • By company

  • By entity

  • By data point

  • By reporting period / periodicity

This allows users to quickly identify high‑risk areas and act before deadlines are missed.

In‑Platform Reminders

Reminders can now be sent:

  • Directly from the platform

  • To the relevant primary contact at the portfolio company

  • With explicit mention of the outstanding data points and entities

  • With a customised message

This reduces back‑and‑forth emails and guides recipients straight to where action is required.

Key Benefits

More comprehensive overview of data progress

  • Track progress across multiple companies, entities, and periods

  • Identify risks early as deadlines approach

  • Reduce time spent manually checking in with companies

In‑platform, contextual communication

  • Send targeted reminders to the right person

  • Reference the exact data points and entities that need attention

  • Avoid lengthy email threads and screenshots

Intuitive and clear interface

  • One‑glance dashboards show progress status

  • Filters help pinpoint high‑ and low‑risk areas quickly

  • Interactive views support deeper investigation where needed, by clicking on a portfolio company the Fund Manager can deep dive in company level completion progress

How It Works

  1. Access the Progress Overview

a) Log in to your Fund Manager account

b) In the left‑hand navigation panel, go to MONITOR

c) Select Portfolio Overview

Note: Progress Overview is reporting year‑dependent. Always ensure the correct reporting year is selected using the year picker at the top of the platform.

2. Review Portfolio‑Level Progress

  • Use filters to identify portfolio companies with the highest number of outstanding data points

  • The dashboard is interactive and displays Data Point Progress across all outstanding requests for each company included in a data request. Note if a company has not been assigned any data request, they will not show up in the dashboard.

  • The completion rate is measured point-in-time to account for differences in periodicity, e.g., if you had requested companies to report on quarterly data the progress overview will tell you which of the quarterly data points have been completed given the point in time. If it's July 1, the system would flag any Q1 and Q2 data point not completed as ‘outstanding’.

This view helps prioritise outreach and support where it is most needed.

3. Send Detailed Reminders

  • Select one or more portfolio companies using the tick boxes on the main dashboard

  • Review the reminder message generated by the system

  • Click Send to notify the primary contact of the selected companies

  • The email will be sent and mentions the sender, the data points outstanding and includes a call to action for the company to start completing data

If the primary contact is not the correct recipient:

  1. Navigate to SETUP → Companies

  1. Update the portfolio company’s primary contact

4. Drill Down into Company Details

  • Click View Details to access a more granular progress view for a specific portfolio company

Within the company view, you can:

  • See progress by data point

  • See progress by assigned entity

5. View Progress by Entity and Periodicity

  • Select View within the company dashboard

  • This displays progress by:

  • Assigned entity

  • Assigned periodicity (e.g. monthly, quarterly)

For example, if monthly data has been requested, this view will clearly show which months and entities are complete or outstanding.
