Introduction
Understanding and setting up entities is a fundamental step in ensuring that your ESG reporting within the KEY ESG platform is accurate and aligned with your organisational structure. Entities refer to any part of your organisation, from offices and factories to renewable energy installations like solar panel or wind farms. Accurately defining these entities is essential because they form the foundation for how your data is collected, tracked, and reported.
In this article, we will guide you through the process of setting up your entities, assigning them to relevant data points, and reviewing entity-specific outputs in your reports. Getting this right from the start will streamline your reporting process and provide clearer insights into your organisation's ESG performance.
