How to use the plain text section in your resume?

The plain text section gives you plenty of flexibility in how you want to format your content.

You can use this section for many different purposes:

  • If you don't like the formatting of some other section and prefer the formatting of this one. For example, if you don't want your hobbies section to be displayed with icons, simply list your hobbies in plain text section and rename it.

  • If you want to add any custom data at the end of your resume, e.g. a sentence for the privacy authorization.

  • If you want to fill the whole area of your resume with text.

  • If some of your data is too long and doesn't fit in the field, e.g. email.
