The Keywords feature in Kickscale helps your sales team identify and track specific terms or phrases mentioned during meetings, giving you insights into recurring themes, challenges, or opportunities. This feature is designed to improve your sales process by highlighting critical points of discussion and areas for improvement.
How the Keywords Feature Works
1. What Are Keywords and Keyword Categories?
Keywords are specific words or phrases configured by admins to track during sales meetings.
Keyword Categories are groupings of related keywords, such as “Objections,” “Opportunities,” or “Competitor Mentions.”
Keywords can have hints, which provide guidance to users, such as suggesting better alternatives or providing contextual information.
2. Where Are Keywords Configured?
Admins can set up Keywords and Keyword Categories in the Settings under:
Analysis Configuration → Keywords
Keywords can be customized for different meeting languages (currently supported: English and German).
3. Important Note About New Keywords
Newly configured keywords are not automatically analyzed for past meetings. They will only appear in the analysis of future meetings after they have been added.
4. Where Are Keywords Displayed?
After a meeting is analyzed, the detected keywords are shown in the Coaching Tab of the Meeting Detail View.
The occurrence of each keyword is visible to all users with access to the meeting. However, keywords are not displayed when a meeting is accessed via a share-link.
5. Keyword Dashboard
Admins can view a bar chart dashboard of all keywords detected in meetings.
The dashboard allows filtering by:
Users
Time Range
Meeting Type
Meeting Tags
Language
Keyword Category
Customer Mentions Only
Clicking on a specific keyword in the bar chart opens a detailed view showing all meetings where the keyword was mentioned. From there, you can navigate directly to the corresponding meeting for deeper analysis.

Troubleshooting
Why are my keywords not showing up in the Coaching Tab?
Ensure the meeting analysis is complete. Keywords appear only after the meeting has been processed.
Check if the keyword is configured correctly in the Settings.
Why aren’t my new keywords appearing in older meetings?
Keywords are analyzed only for meetings that take place after they are configured. Past meetings are not re-analyzed for new keywords.
Why can’t I see keywords in the dashboard?
Adjust your filters (e.g., language, category) to ensure the relevant data is visible.
Ensure that the time range includes the meetings you want to analyze.
