What are Resources?

Resources allow you to store and organize important information directly in your Kickscale Workspace.

Whether you need sales battlecards, meeting briefings, or internal documentation, Resources keep everything in one place.

You can access your Resources directly from the Kickscale Chrome Extension, making them available before and during meetings.

Additionally, the Kickscale AI Agent can access your Resources to look up relevant information and use it as context.

1. Types of Resources

Kickscale supports three types of Resources:

Resource Type

Text

Create and save formatted text using a rich text editor with Markdown support.

File

Upload documents, images, and other supported files directly to your Workspace.

Supported File Formats

When uploading files, the following limits apply:

  • Maximum file size: 8 MB

  • Supported formats: PDF, CSV, TXT, PNG, JPG, WEBP

2. How to Create a Resource

You can add Resources to your Workspace to make important information easily accessible.

  1. Open your Kickscale Workspace.

  2. Navigate to Settings search for Resouces.

  3. Click Add

  4. Choose the Resource type: Text, Link, or File.

  5. Add your content, URL, or upload a supported file.

3. Organize Resources with Tags

You can assign tags to Resources to keep your information organized.

Tags can be created by adding them directly "Add Resource" Tags field. Type the Tag name and press enter or click add "your Tag Name".

Tags help you group related content and make it easier to find relevant information.

For example, you could organize Resources using tags such as:

  • Competitors: Battlecards and competitive positioning.

  • Sales Enablement: Sales playbooks and objection-handling guides.

  • Product Knowledge: Product information and documentation.

  • Meeting Preparation: Briefings and question lists.

4. Access Resources in the Chrome Extension

Your Resources are also available directly in the Kickscale Chrome Extension.

This allows you to access important information without switching between multiple tools during customer conversations.

You can view saved texts, links, and uploaded files directly from the extension.

Possible Use Cases

  • Battlecards,

Quickly reference competitive positioning, product differentiators, and responses to common objections during sales conversations.

  • Meeting Briefings,

Review important information before a Meeting and refer to it throughout the conversation.

  • Question Trackers,

    Keep important discovery questions visible.

5. Use Resources as a Knowledge Base for the AI Agent

Resources aren't just useful for your team. They also serve as a knowledge base for the Kickscale AI Agent.

The agent can access stored Resources and look up relevant information when needed.

6. Tips & Best Practices

To get the most out of Resources, we recommend:

  • Use descriptive names: Make it easy to recognize Resources at a glance.

  • Organize with tags: Group related content for easier navigation.

  • Choose the right format: Use Text for quick notes, Links for external content, and Files for documents.

  • Create reusable content: Store battlecards, question lists, and meeting briefings that your team can use repeatedly.
