  8. Return to Kickscale after completing the authorization.

Your Microsoft 365 account is now available to the Kickscale Agent.

What can the Kickscale Agent access?

After connecting Microsoft 365, the Agent can use the following tools.

Outlook Mail and Calendar

The Agent can:

  • View calendar events within a selected timeframe.

  • Create, update, and cancel calendar events.

  • Invite attendees to calendar events.

  • Accept or decline calendar invitations.

  • Search your inbox and read emails.

  • View existing email drafts.

  • Create new email drafts, including Reply All drafts.

  • Update recipients, subjects, or content in existing drafts.

For example, ask the Agent to find available meeting times or prepare a follow-up email.

OneDrive

The Agent can:

  • Search Word, text, and Markdown documents.

  • Read document content.

  • Create new Word documents.

  • Update the complete content of existing documents.

This lets the Agent use your documents while helping with sales-related tasks.

The Agent can:

  • Search for Excel workbooks.

  • View available worksheets and used ranges.

  • Read values from selected spreadsheet ranges.

  • Create Excel workbooks in the Kickscale folder.

  • Add new rows to worksheets.

  • Update selected cell ranges.

For example, the Agent can add structured information to an existing spreadsheet.

Required Microsoft permissions

The Kickscale Agent application requests these delegated permissions:

Permission

Why it is needed

Calendars.ReadWrite

Read and manage your calendars

Files.ReadWrite.All

Read and manage files you can access

Mail.ReadWrite

Read and manage your email and drafts

offline_access

Maintain authorized access after you sign in

User.Read

Sign you in and read your basic profile

These permissions are delegated. The integration acts through the Microsoft account you connect.

Your Microsoft organization may require administrator approval before you can grant these permissions.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Connect the Microsoft account you use for your daily sales activities.

  • Review the requested Microsoft permissions before approving access.

  • Use clear instructions when asking the Agent to work with Microsoft 365.

  • Include relevant dates, recipients, filenames, or workbook names in your request.

Troubleshooting

Microsoft says administrator approval is required

Your Microsoft organization may restrict users from approving applications or specific permissions.

Ask your Microsoft administrator to approve the Kickscale Agent application and its required permissions.

The integration is stuck on the "Connecting Microsoft 365" Kickscale Screen

If this happens, you probably have to finish your MFA via your Authenticator App.
