How to customize Notetaker Appearance

This article shows you how you can customize the Kickscale Notetaker to your company appearance.

Kickscale offers to ways of customizing the appearance of the notetaker:

  • Name of the notetaker

  • Image of the notetaker

The order of applying customizations is:

  1. User-level customization (if not disabled on the workspace-level)

  2. Team-level customization (if not disabled on the workspace-level)

  3. Workspace customization

How to Customize Your Kickscale Notetaker

Workspace-level customization (Admins and Configurators only)

  1. Navigate to the Settings

  2. Click on the "Workspace" section

    • Scroll down to find "Notetaker" settings

  3. Upload Your Custom Image or enter your custom Notetaker name

    • To upload an image, click on the current Notetaker logo

    • Choose your new image file

    • Click "Upload"

  4. Save Your Changes using the "Save" button

Team-level customization (Admins, Configurators and Team-Admins)

  • Navigate to the Settings

  • Navigate to Teams and then select the team you would like to make the change for

  • Scroll down to find "Notetaker Branding"

  • If the feature is grayed out, team notetaker customization has been disabled in your workspace and customizations previously made here will not be respected

  1. Enable (or disable) custom notetaker branding for the team

  2. Upload a custom image or change the notetaker name

  3. Save your changes

User-level customization

Important: This feature is only available to users with a paid Kickscale seat that do not have the "Analytics" role.

  • Navigate to the Settings

  • Click on "Notetaker & Calendar"

  • If the feature "Enable Individual Notetaker Branding" is grayed out, user-level notetaker customization has been disabled in your workspace and settings previously made here will not be respected

  1. Enable (or disable) custom notetaker branding

  2. Upload a custom image or change the notetaker name

  3. Save your changes

Image Requirements

To ensure the best quality output across various meeting platforms, please follow these guidelines:

  • Format: JPEG

  • Aspect Ratio: 16:9

  • Recommended Resolution: 640x360 pixels

  • Maximum File Size: 1.3MB (smaller sizes are preferred)

Enabling (or disabling) Notetaker customization for users and teams

Users with the Admin or Configurator role can enable or disable notetaker customization on the user- or team-level in the "Workspace -> Notetaker" settings tab. Per default, this feature is disabled for both users and teams for all new Kickscale workspaces.

For Kickscale clients that were created before the introduction of this feature, user-level customization is enabled per default.
