Setting up your brand kit

Keep your clinic's logo, colors and fonts in one place for your reports.

Your reports should look like they come from your clinic. The brand kit keeps your clinic's look in one place: your logo, colors, fonts, and cover and final pages. Klarify can pull it from your website or from a report you already send, so you don't have to build it by hand.

The brand kit works together with your templates:

  • Your template sets the structure and layout of each report. Klara writes it in your voice, the writing style it learns from your example reports. See Creating a report template.

  • Your brand kit sets the visual identity your whole clinic shares: colors for graphs and tables, the fonts in your exports, and your brand assets.

Who can set it up

A clinic admin or the clinic owner can create and edit the brand kit. Everyone else in the clinic can view it.

Create your brand kit

Open Reports, go to the Brand kit tab, and choose a starting point:

  • From a report or letterhead: upload a PDF or Word document you already send. Klarify extracts your logo, colors and fonts.

  • From your website: enter your clinic's website address and choose Read my website. Klarify reads your public pages only. Nothing from your site is saved until you confirm the kit.

  • Start from a preset: choose a ready-made look for clinical documents and adjust it.

  • Build it manually: choose your logo, colors and fonts yourself.

Review what Klarify found

After it reads your document or website, Klarify asks Does this look like you? Check each item and keep, replace, adjust or leave it out:

  • Logo and icons

  • Pages: the first page can become your cover, and the last page your final page

  • Colors: up to 8, starting with your primary and secondary colors

  • Fonts: for headings and body text

  • Footer and tagline

Choose Looks right — save kit, or Fine-tune in the editor to make more changes.

What you can set in the editor

  • Logo and Icons

  • Colors, with a contrast check so your reports stay readable in print

  • Typography: heading and body fonts. You can add fonts from Google Fonts or upload your own font file.

  • Pages: a cover page and a final page

Choose Save brand kit when you are done.

How your reports use the brand kit

  • Graphs and tables that have Follow brand kit updates turned on use your brand colors. In tables, the header uses your primary color. See Defining graphs and tables.

  • Fonts you add from Google Fonts or upload are embedded in your PDF and Word exports, so the report looks the same on every computer.

  • Template Studio shows your logo, cover page and final page in its preview.

Your exported reports keep the layout of the template you imported, including its own cover and final page. Check a report in Preview before you export to confirm the result.

Make changes later

A clinic admin or the clinic owner can return to Reports → Brand kit at any time to update the kit. Graphs and tables that follow the brand kit use the new colors in the next reports you generate.
