Manage your important reminders and "to do's" for your Client

Tasks in Klipboard are an invaluable tool for scheduling and managing important reminders and to-do lists with your clients. While Tasks are web-based and don't appear on the Klipboard mobile app, they serve as ideal internal to-do lists for your office team.

With Tasks, you can detail your activities, such as Customer Follow Up, set specific due dates with email reminders, and assign them to a specific team member. All your Tasks are easily searchable through keyword searches and a range of other filters. Once a Task is complete, a simple selection of the Completed Tick marks its closure.

Create a Task

  • Select Task > All Tasks.

  • On the top right, select New Activity Task.

  • Select Associated Client and from the dropdown select the client against who you wish to schedule the Task. 

  • The title is where you name the Task. 

  • Notes are where you can add any relevant notes for the Task. 

  • Due Date can be set 1 - 5 business days ahead, in 2 weeks, 1  month or a custom date and at a custom time.

  • Email Notification can be set 1 - 5 business days ahead, in 2 weeks, 1  month or a custom date and at a custom time.

  • Assigned to is the Team Member who owns the Task and they will receive the email notification for the Task.

  • Select Save to add the Activity.

All Tasks added will appear on the Grid and you can do the following:

  • Keyword search and filter by assigned Team Member.

  • Select View, to see the Activity details and/or Delete to remove the Task.

  • Mark the Task as Complete by selecting the respective tick in the Complete Column.

  • Export to Excel all Task data, therefore, giving you reporting ability.

  • Filter using the column headers i.e. Client, Assigned to, Due Date, Reminder email.

Within the Task navigation panel on the left, you can also select specific views such as Due Today, Due This Week, Overdue and Completed.


Create and View Task within a Client

  • Go to All Clients and select View on the client against who you wish to create a Task.

  • Navigate to the Notes & Tasks tab.

  • You can populate the Task details and save them.

Tasks can be edited, and marked as complete by selecting the Edit and selecting the Completed Tick respectively.  

Please note, Reminders are sent the morning of the reminder due date, so notification reminders must be set at least one day in advance, and are sent to the email address associated with the assigned team member.
