Not only have we released lots of features to the mobile app, we have not forgot about the web dashboard! We are delighted to share with you our latest feature releases from the last quarter.

We also have some great features in the pipeline such as the ability to edit forms on the web dashboard, auto creation of PPM jobs and convert a quote to multiple jobs, so do stay tuned!


Navigate to specific features

Asset QR Code Tagging

QR codes are ideal for the ongoing maintenance of assets as they provide quick, easy and streamlined access to the information about an asset.

We have released QR code tagging and all existing asset records and any new assets created on Klipboard will now automatically have a unique QR code associated. These QR code tags can be printed as labels and attached to your customer's assets.

You can also easily generate a QR code for an asset or associate an existing QR code with an asset on the QR code entry screen on the mobile app.

We have also brought QR code scanning to the app to help find assets and service records quicker. Once an asset has been assigned a QR tag, your team member can simply scan the code using the Klipboard mobile app, and the system will find the item within seconds from your asset register.

On asset services, when the asset has been scanned, the app will prompt the team member to complete the necessary checks to add to the existing service history library.


Enhanced Grid List Views with frozen columns

We are always looking at how to improve the user experience on Klipboard. Continuing our visual improvement we have introduced grid lines to all the grid lists and frozen columns to clients, jobs and assets. Super helpful when you are reading the associated data.


Client Portal Mobile Optimised

Your clients can now view their Client Portal on a mobile device, no more pinching and zooming!

This means that your clients no longer need to be on a desktop computer to accept your quotes, pay invoices or view the jobs that you have completed for them.


​Customisable Lead Source & Lead Status for Clients

​To further progress our Sales CRM capabilities we have introduce customisable Lead Source and Lead Status fields allowing you to tag your clients for better filtering, etc. Navigate to All Clients & Suppliers, View and update the fields accordingly.


Stripe for Online Credit Card, Apple Pay & Google Payments

Klipboard now enables you to add a unique ‘Pay Now’ link to each invoice emailed out to your clients. Invoices can be securely paid for by credit or debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

To help ensure you can get your invoices paid quicker we have partnered with Stripe to allow you to integrate Stripe payments. In a few simple clicks you can activate Stripe on your Klipboard account and start accepting online payments for invoices you sent to clients.

Payment is collected ele§ctronically using a Stripe account with a competitive per transaction fee and no monthly subscription charges. Klipboard's payment integration with Stripe provides a secure electronic payment gateway, ensuring safer online payments and a cost-effective process.


Quotes - Sales Pipeline, Close Date, Description & Created By

See which business you are going to win and predict better revenue with our sales pipeline tabs. Quotes can now have a close date set against them that is not visible to your client.

For Quotes that require a large description you can now enter up to 4000 characters before your line items, perfect for those quotes that require a lot of detail.


Invoices - Cashflow Pipeline Description & Created By

Cashflow is the lifeblood of any business, now you can predict better when invoice payments are due with our due payment pipeline tabs.

With ease you can quickly report on what is due payment and when, enabling you to forecast cashflows in your business.


New Quote & Invoice PDF Templates

To accommodate the new Quote and Invoice fields for Created / Issued by, large description text, etc, we have launched two new templates designed specifically for that


Internal Documents & History on Quotes, Invoices & Purchase Order

Now you can attach internal documents to each Quote, Invoice or Purchase Order. There is also a history on when a Quote, Invoice or Purchase Order was created, edited, sent, etc.


Copy Quote to Invoice

It does what it says on the tin! Click Actions > Copy Quote To Invoice and all quote information will be copied across to an invoice. Perfect for billing items when a job is not required.


​Team Schedule & Dispatch On The Mobile App

Now you are able to view and dispatch jobs to your team members on the mobile app - just like you can on the web dashboard.

This can be permission controlled, so you can decide who in your team can do this - you can choose from just allowing them to view the scheduler or also allowing them to schedule the jobs.


Invoicing

With the required permissions set you can now create Invoices on the mobile app and take credit card payments in the field if you have also activated Stripe payments on your Klipboard account.

Forms for Support Team Members

Support team members now have the ability to add forms to a job that they are working on with a lead team member. The lead team member will still have forms allocated to them when they receive a job, where as a support team member will have the ability to add forms they require.

Forms completed by support team members will be uploaded and added to the overall job, exactly the same as a lead team member uploading jobs.


Jobs Clickable on Map

Want to find job details by location fast? No problem! The map that display your jobs now enables you to tap on the relevant pins and you will be navigated to the corresponding job details.

Service Records: Bulk Complete

We have introduced the ability to complete all or selected asset service records in one bulk action on jobs. This will increase the speed and efficiency of confirming assets that have had planned maintenance on a job.

For example if you have 50 assets that require service records completed for each asset, no longer will you have to complete each one individually. The same date, time and signature will be applied to all selected asset service records when bulk complete is actioned.

The ability to individually complete an asset service record remains, simply open the service record and complete the relevant fields.


Customisable Job Status

Before finishing a job there is now an optional "Job Status" that can be added to the job before the job is finished. This status will be displayed on the job grids on the web dashboard. For example you could have a status for "Parts Required" therefore when the job is sent back to the web dashboard for review by the office team, they will know what action to take next.

Mobile app job statuses can be customised to your requirements. These are configured in the job settings on the web dashboard.
