We’re excited to announce the release of new resources designed to support both teachers and students in developing essential science skills. Based on feedback from the initial release of our science content, we identified the need for more targeted support on the new tools introduced in the curriculum. In response, we’ve added three new sub-topics under the "Essential Skills and Support Guides". These sub-topics focus on a wide range of critical skills for science practice, including experimental techniques, technology, and mathematics—key tools for success in modern science education.
Additionally, we’ve enhanced the existing content on Internal Assessment and practicals by introducing a comprehensive set of new resources to further support both teachers and students.
The new tools are designed to help students deepen their understanding of key techniques, terminology, and mathematical operations related to the topics in the textbook. They include interactive elements, external links, recommendations, requirements, and comprehension exercises. At the end of every section, students will find the "Tool in Action" segment, which links to specific sections within the textbook, offering practical examples of how these tools are applied throughout the subject.
