This article is for nannies that have already given their families notice and notified Koru Kids that the arrangement is ending. If you haven't already done so, please read this article and follow the steps.

Finalising your arrangement

Your final pay will be processed as usual, so be sure to submit any outstanding shifts and expenses for approval. Please only report shifts that you have worked.

You have 5 working days after your final shift to return your keys. If you still have any sets of keys to return, please speak to the family about the best way to return them safely and promptly. You can read more about returning keys here.


Finding a new role with Koru Kids

If you're looking for a new role with us, there are a few things you'll need to wrap up before you re-start your search:

  1. To help you find your next role, you'll need to update your availability and make sure your profile is up-to-date. You may want to add in your new experience, a fresh profile picture or new postcode is you've moved!

  2. Check your profile is set to visible, so families can see you and reach out to you.

  3. Search for local families. You can reach out to families for any roles that would be a good fit for you on your matches page. We have new families signing up every day, and we will also let you know as soon as we have any families who are interested in arranging a chat with you.

Taking a break


If you won't be looking for a new role right now, you'll just need to double check your profile is hidden. You can do this via your profile.

Of course if you do decide to reopen your search later on you'll just need update your availability and make sure your profile is up-to-date.
