Overview
There may be times when you'd like to transfer assignment of a lead record to another Agent in your office or team. btPROs Smart CRM includes a 'transfer' tool that you can use to do just this with an individual lead or en masse.
Requirements & Limitations
You can only transfer the assignment of a lead that you either own or are assigned to another Agent within your office or team scope.
Only Company Admins can transfer the assignment of a lead between offices or teams.
You can only transfer a lead with an Agent also in your btPRO account.
Transferring a lead is permanent; the only way to regain assigement is for the new Agent to transfer it back.
Transferring an Individual Lead
To transfer a lead:
Log in to btPRO.
Click on 'Smart CRM'.
Search for the lead and click on their name to open their profile.
In the profile, click 'More Actions'.
Click 'Transfer Lead' from the drop-down menu that appears.
Type in the Agents name that you wish to transfer the lead to.
Click the Agents name to select them from the drop-down menu that appears.
Click 'Transfer'.
A new note in the contact's timeline will appear to log the date and time that the lead was transferred.
Once the lead has been transferred, the new owner will receive an email from btPRO notifying them of the new lead in their Smart CRM.
Transferring Leads in Bulk
To transfer leads en masse:
Log in to btPRO.
Click on 'Smart CRM'.
Filter for the list of leads you would like to transfer.
Check the box in the top left corner of the table of leads to select all matching.
Or, check the boxes specific to the leads you want to transfer.
Click on 'More Actions'.
Click on 'Transfer Contact(s)' from the drop-down menu that appears.
Type in the Agents name that you wish to transfer the leads to.
Click the Agents name to select them from the drop-down menu that appears.
Click the green 'Transfer' button on the bottom left to confirm.
A new note in all of the leads' timelines will be logged to show the history.
