Some tips on what to do if you are having difficulty accessing your saved documents

One of the benefits of Landlord Law is that you can create documents using our templates and our 'document generator' service.

However, we sometimes get calls for help from members who can't access them. Here is some guidance and things for you to check:

Are you logged into Landlord Law?

You can always tell if you are logged in as your name will appear in one of the coloured buttons at the top of the screen. You must be logged in to access your documents.

Is your membership current?

Although you can log into Landlord Law at any time, if something has gone wrong with your renewal payment, your membership will be on hold until this is resolved. Which means that you will be logged in but will not be able to access any of the members-only content (including your saved documents).

If (after you have logged in - guidance here) you go to the My Account subscriptions page you will be able to see the statutes of your membership subscription - i.e. whether it is active or on hold.

If your account is on hold this will invariably be because your renewal payment has not gone through. This is most commonly because you have a new card and have not updated the site with your new card details.

Is there a 'cache issue'

This is a really annoying problem that often occurs when you have tried to access the same page multiple times, particularly if you first tried to access the page when you were logged out.

We have a help page here which explains the issue and gives guidance on what you can do about it.

If you still can't access the documents

Almost always, the problem will be one of the three issues above. If you have checked them out and still have issues, you can contact us for support, although there may not be much we can do - other than check your membership status.

Please contact us via the 'green button' service. You should see the green button on your right.

But please, can you always follow the guidance above before getting in touch.
