The Lassie payment portal gives you a full overview of your payments and complete control over both your payment method (how you pay your insurance premium) and your payout method (where you receive reimbursements for approved claims).

Your payment account and payout account do not need to be the same! For example, you can pay your insurance premium using PayPal and receive claims reimbursements to a different bank account (IBAN).
How to access the Payment Portal
Accessing the payment portal from the Lassie app:
To open the payment portal using the Lassie app:
Go to the Insurance tab.
Tap on Payments.
Tap Ändern (Change) to open the portal.
Accessing the payment portal via web browser:
To open the payment portal in your browser:
Enter the email address associated with your Lassie account.
You will receive a 4-digit PIN code by email.
Enter the PIN to gain access to the portal.
How to Change Your Payment and Payout Methods
Changing your payment method:
To update your payment method inside the portal:
Click "Einer Zahlungsmethode hinzufügen" ("Add a payment method").
Choose your preferred method:
IBAN (SEPA direct debit)
PayPal
Credit card
Click Bestätigen ("Confirm").
Additional notes:
You can add multiple payment methods.
The method that is activated inside the portal will be used for future premium payments.
Make sure there is enough balance on the selected payment account to avoid payment failures.
Changing your payout method:
To update the account where reimbursements are sent:
Option 1: Select the checkbox to use the same payment details for payouts as you use for payments - "Nutze die gewählte Zahlungsmethode"
Option 2: Click "Einer Auszahlungsmethode hinzufügen" ("Add a payout method") to add a different payout account.
Available payout methods:
IBAN
PayPal
(Please note: Reimbursements cannot be paid to a credit card.)
Viewing Previous and Upcoming Payments
You can view your entire payment history and all upcoming invoices directly on the homepage of the payment portal. This includes:
Completed payments
Payments in progress
Upcoming scheduled invoices
Viewing yearly price and discounts
At the top of the page, you will see:
Your total yearly price for the insurance
Any discounts that have been applied
If you have multiple policies
All payments for all insurance policies will appear in a single list.
Click on a policy number to filter and view payments for that specific policy only.
Viewing details about a specific payment
To see more information about a payment, such as the billing period, applied discounts, or the date the payment succeeded, simply tap the payment entry to expand it.
