An exclusion is something that is not included in your insurance. In other words, it's something that is excluded from your insurance terms.
One example of an exclusion is if your pet has a chronic illness before you take out cover with Lassie. Chronic illnesses, and issues related to a chronic illness, cannot then be covered by our insurance, as they are considered pre-existing and therefore an exclusion.
