Navigating Your Daily Dashboard

Updated this week

TL;DR: The Dashboard is your daily home base. Use it to see your scheduled lessons, check student progress, and log real-world learning activities like reading or nature walks.

The Dashboard is the heart of your LearnSpark experience. It gives you a real-time look at your homeschooling day. It combines your schedule, student progress, and easy tools to help you manage everything in one place.

By using your Dashboard regularly, you ensure SparkAI has the information it needs to keep your family’s learning on track. It helps you stay organized so you can focus on what matters most—teaching!

Your Daily Overview

At the top of your Dashboard, you will see a quick snapshot of your account activity. These numbers help you keep track of your growing classroom:

  • Student Count: See how many active student profiles you are currently managing.

  • Lessons & Projects: This shows the total number of learning experiences you have created with SparkAI.

The Daily Schedule & Adventures

The Dashboard acts like your personal daily planner. It shows you what is happening right now so you can start teaching without hunting for files.

  • Today’s Lessons: Click directly on a scheduled lesson to see your teacher guide, access student pods, or start a lesson recording.

  • Upcoming Adventures: If you are planning a trip, your next destination and saved activities will show up here.

  • Weekly Schedule: This is a shortcut to your full calendar view. You can see the whole week, move lessons around, or use batch generation to plan ahead.

💡 Good to know: Clicking a scheduled lesson allows you to provide feedback when you are done. This is how SparkAI learns what your student mastered to personalize your LearnSpark experience!

Log Activity: Quick-Log for Real-World Learning

Learning happens everywhere, not just during a planned lesson! Use the Log Activity button on your Dashboard to record learning as it happens. This uses the quick-log tool to track moments like:

  • Reading Time: Record which books were read and for how long.

  • Outdoor & Physical Activity: Track sports, nature walks, or active play.

  • Excursions: Quickly note trips to museums, libraries, or community events.

When you log these moments, SparkAI updates your student’s Learning Journey and Mastery Profile. This ensures their formal records reflect all their hard work.
