How We Use Your Data
To give you the best LearnSpark experience, our platform stores things like student profiles, learning goals, and lesson history. This data helps SparkAI understand what your child needs to learn next.
SparkAI uses this information to find gaps in learning and suggest fun activities that match your child's interests. This information is used ONLY to personalize your LearnSpark experience. It is never shared with other users or sold to third parties.
How to Delete Your Account and Data
If you decide to leave LearnSpark, you can remove your records through the app settings. This will delete your profile, student data, and all lesson history.
⚠️ Heads up: Before deleting, make sure to download any records you need for your homeschool portfolio from the Performance tab!
To delete your account and data, follow these steps:
Go to Settings and select General Settings.
Scroll down to the Danger Zone section.
Type the phrase DELETE MY ACCOUNT exactly as shown into the confirmation box.
Confirm the deletion.
💡 Good to know: We use a "soft-delete" for the first 30 days. If you log back in during this time, your account is reactivated. After 30 days, all data is deleted permanently and cannot be recovered.
Managing Your Privacy Daily
You don't always need to delete your account to stay private. You can change what SparkAI sees at any time by updating your information.
You can update student Interests and learning styles in the Student Profiles section. By keeping these details updated, you ensure that your LearnSpark experience stays accurate and helpful for your family!
Your Security is a Priority
We use strong encryption to keep your data safe. Your child's mastery profile is private to you and anyone you choose to invite as a collaborator via the Account Access page. Is my data deleted immediately when I click delete?
Your account enters a 30-day "soft-delete" period first. If you change your mind, you can simply log back in within those 30 days to stop the process. After that window closes, everything is permanently removed.
Can I recover my data after the 30-day window?
No. Once the 30-day window passes, all data is deleted completely to keep your information secure. It cannot be recovered by you or the LearnSpark team.
Who can see my child's learning progress?
Only you and the people you specifically invite as collaborators can see this data. You can manage these permissions in the Account Access section of your settings.
Is my data shared with other LearnSpark families?
No. Your family's data is only used to improve your own LearnSpark experience. It is never used to help generate content for other users.
Does deleting the app from my phone delete my data?
No, that only removes the app software. Your records stay safe on our secure servers until you use the delete function in the Danger Zone within your settings.
