All payments and plan changes are handled safely through Stripe. Whether you are teaching one child or running a large tutoring organization, there is a perfect fit for your LearnSpark experience.
Choosing Your Plan
We offer different options to fit your homeschooling goals:
Basic User Account ($29/month): This is our most popular choice! It is perfect for 1–2 students. It includes all core features and a set amount of monthly credits.
Free Tier: You can explore the platform with a small number of monthly generations to see how it feels.
Agencies & Organizations: For tutoring businesses, we offer a base fee plus per-student pricing. This lets you manage many tutors and students from one central dashboard.
How SparkAI Credits Power Your Experience
SparkAI credits are the "fuel" for your LearnSpark experience. These credits cover tasks that would normally take hours of manual effort. SparkAI works in the background to keep your student’s data accurate and helpful.
Your credits are used for:
Lessons & Projects: Creating, customizing, or Regenerating lessons and multi-session projects.
Student Mastery Profiles: Every time you provide feedback, SparkAI updates the student’s profile, including skills decomposition and standards mapping.
Adventures: Finding local activities tailored to your values and refreshing your schedule.
Gap Analysis: When you use Custom Curriculums, SparkAI looks for missing pieces in your student's progress.
Reporting: Creating PDF reports for compliance and updating the Learning Journey tracker.
💡 Good to know: Detailed Student Profiles help SparkAI get things right the first time. This means you won't need to use the Regenerate button as often, making your credits last longer!
Adding Extra Credits
If you have a large family or a busy month, you might need more than the basic monthly amount. You can buy Credit Top-Up Packs (150 extra credits for $10) at any time.
Go to Settings in the sidebar.
Click on Billing.
Click the Buy Top-Up button.
Confirm your purchase. Your credits will appear in your balance immediately!
It is important to understand which credits stay in your account:
Monthly Credits: These refresh every month based on your plan. They do not roll over, so use them before the month ends!
Top-Up Credits: Credits you buy in $10 packs stay in your "bank" until you use them. They do not expire.
Trial Bonus: If you add a payment method during your trial, we give you 75 bonus rollover credits that never expire as long as your account is active.
Flexible Billing and Account Management
Life moves fast, and your needs might change. We use "pro-rated" billing to keep things fair. If you upgrade mid-month, you only pay the difference for the remaining days.
If you downgrade, any "extra" money you already paid is turned into a billing credit. This credit is applied to your next monthly invoice automatically.
⚠️ Heads up: To delete your data, go to Settings > General Settings > Danger Zone and type the phrase "DELETE MY ACCOUNT". There is a 30-day "soft-delete" period. If you log back in within 30 days, your account will reactivate. After that, all data is gone forever.
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if I run out of credits mid-month?
Don't worry! LearnSpark will prompt you to purchase a top-up pack if you're getting close to your limit. Your progress is always saved while you top up.
How many students can I teach on the base plan?
The $29 base account covers 1–2 students comfortably. For larger families, simply add $10 credit packs to support the extra SparkAI work needed for more students.
Do my purchased credits disappear at the end of the month?
No. While your standard monthly credits refresh, any credits bought through Top-Up Packs stay in your account until you use them.
Can I cancel or delete my account?
Yes. You can manage your subscription in Billing. To fully delete your data, use the Danger Zone in General Settings and confirm with the phrase "DELETE MY ACCOUNT".
Where do I find my credit usage?
You can view your current credit balance and usage history on the Billing page within your Settings.
