The invitation message is a message you can set up in advance as an invitation to an evaluation round. The invitation allows you to give a short introduction or instruction to colleagues. For example, an invitation often contains explanations about:

  • The type of evaluation and the topics an employee can expect.

  • The importance of this type of evaluation for the organisation.

  • Who the employee can turn to in case of questions.

Set up invitation messages

You can create/set up an invitation message in two ways:

  • When creating an evaluation cycle (at step 4):Here you will then see the option to save the message as a new invitation message, or to permanently edit the existing message.

  • In the settings of the Performance product:

Take the following route: Click on your profile picture in the lower left corner of the menu bar > Plan > Performance > Settings. Here you will find the ‘Create message’ button at the very bottom; clicking it will take you to the screen to create the invitation message.

When the invitation message is saved, you can then find it, when creating the evaluation cycle, and select it as the default introduction message. You can also customise the invitations under the Performance product settings.

💡 The invitation message can be created multilingually, depending on the organisation settings.
