A default rating scale can be created in advance. This ensures that when adding a question asking for a score, a pre-completed scale is loaded. For example, ‘Far below expectations - Far above expectations’ for evaluating on questions dealing with an employee's performance.
Set up a default rating scale
You can find the default rating scale in Learned in two ways, namely:

Profile picture at the bottom left of the menu bar - Organisation settings - Plan - Performance - Settings
By default, there are 5 levels ready at the bottom of the page. You can add, modify or remove levels yourself. There are two possible scales to set:
For skills-related questions (For example: To what extent do you think you show Behaviour X, appropriate to Skill Y?)
For other questions for which you want to ask a score (For example: How did you perform on Project Z?).
💡 In addition to the default rating scale, you also have the option of adding Custom scales. You do this when you add questions to an review theme. For example, questions about job satisfaction that require different labels.
❗️Note: When creating a new question, a custom rating scale can optionally be used. However, the results of questions with a different scale are not shown in the advanced reports in Learned.
📚 Read this article for more information on adding questions to a theme.
Via the text boxes, the names of the levels are customizable to what best suits your organisation. The levels are multilingual, depending on the languages chosen in the organisation settings.
