Accessing the Case Summary Page
Click the Cases tab in the left-hand side navigation panel.
Click on the relevant case from the case list on the Cases Homepage.
The Case Summary Page will load automatically as the default view.
Actioning an Urgent Task
Locate the task in the Urgent Tasks Panel at the top left of the page.
Click the Complete button to action and mark the task as complete.
Alternatively, click Log Time to record time against the task.
For additional options, click the Three Dot Menu (…) and select the required action (edit, duplicate, escalate, request extension, notify client, etc.).
Click View All Tasks to navigate to the full Tasks page for the case.
Requesting a Payment
Locate the Outstanding Bill Balance widget in the Financial Overview Panel.
Review the ageing breakdown to understand the outstanding amounts by time period.
Click the Request Payment button to generate a payment link.
The payment link will be sent to the client via email.
Creating a Bill
Locate the WIP widget in the Financial Overview Panel.
Review the total WIP, unbilled time, and unbilled disbursements.
Click the Create Bill button to generate an invoice or bill to send to the client.
Adding a Case Note
Navigate to the Case Notes Panel in the centre of the page.
Type the note content into the text box.
Attach any relevant files if required.
Use the @ symbol to mention specific team members.
Add tags to categorise the note by topic or subject area.
Click Send to post the note.
Optionally, pin the note to the top or mark it as important using the flag icon.
Reviewing a Similar Case
Navigate to the Similar Cases Panel below the Case Notes Panel.
Review the list of similar cases and their relevance confidence scores.
Click View Full Case Details to see the outcome, court, and key legal principles.
Click the Jump button to open the full case record on the National Archives website.
Click the Three Dot Menu (…) to query why the case is relevant and view the relevance score breakdown.
Contacting a Key Contact
Navigate to the Contacts tab in the Case Information Panel on the right-hand side.
Locate the contact from the list of key contacts.
Click the relevant action button: Phone Call, Send Email, or Schedule Meeting
For additional options, click the Three Dot Menu (…) and select the required action.

User Preferences
Users can customise their Case Summary Page experience:
Choose the preferred view mode for case notes (summary or detail)
Set the default grouping for notes (chronological or by person)
Pin important notes to the top of the notes list
Configure notification preferences for task reminders and mentions
System Settings
Administrators can configure:
Practice areas for which the Similar Cases panel is displayed
Financial health indicator thresholds (green, yellow, red)
Ageing breakdown time periods for the outstanding bill balance
Available compliance check types and requirements
Task escalation rules and workflows
Strategy tab visibility and content configuration
