Selling directly to your customers is a great way to maintain a direct relationship with your customers while keeping your margins high. But it is a lot of work daily. As a result, partners that prefer lower margins, higher volumes, and less daily work will often choose The Wholesale Route.

Some artists have access to a physical store (an artist-owned art gallery, a showroom, a gift shop, a section of your studio opened to the public, a busy calendar of art fairs, etc.). They buy a large order once a month with units of their new collections alongside reorders of their best-selling pieces and custom orders.
