The Compliance Hub is a centralized page that helps landlords efficiently identify and resolve compliance issues across their entire property portfolio.

How to use the Compliance Hub:

Renters Rights Information Sheet Section

This sections handles the sharing and tracking of the Renters’ Rights Information Sheet. In-app sharing requires that tenants exist and have been invited to the tenant portal.

Invite Tenant:

  1. For properties that already have a tenant but yet to be invited, click on Invite Tenant.

  2. This action will take you the invite tenant screen and explain the benefits of inviting a tenant to their own dashboard. Click Proceed to continue.

  3. Follow the instructions on the invite tenant form.

  4. Once the invite is sent the tenant will receive a link to register. Make sure that the tenant's using the same email address to sign up as the email that they received the email to.

Add Tenant:

  1. For properties that have no tenant set up, click on Add Tenant.

  2. This action will take you to the tenant form. Fill out the tenant information, and click Save.

  3. Review and approve the generated payment schedule.


Scroll down to the next section and decide how you want to share the Information Sheet with your tenants:

Share in app (tenant must be invited):

  1. Click on Share.

  2. Review the message the tenant will receive with the document. At this stage you can edit the message if you'd like.

  3. Check the Force tenant to read document box if you'd like to have proof of the tenant reading the document.

  4. Click Share with tenant.

Send for signature via email:

  1. Find the tenant you would like to share the document with and click Send for Signature.

  2. Review the tenant's details and click Next.

  3. Add the signature field where you'd like and click Send.

  4. Double check the tenant's email and click Send Now.

  5. The tenant will receive an email with a link to sign the document. After the document's signed you will receive a notification to your email.

Tenancy Structure Section

The purpose of this section is to manage active tenancy setups by surfacing all properties with tenants who are not currently on a rolling/periodic tenancy.

If all properties are set up correctly you will have a confirmation that all tenancies are set up on a rolling tenancy.

Update a Tenancy:

  1. First select if you want to update the tenancy agreement or update the tenancy in app only.

  2. If you'd like to generate a new tenancy agreement follow the next steps, if you'd like to update the tenancy in the app only skip to step 11.

  3. Click on Generate New Tenancy Agreement.

  4. Select the type of agreement you would like to create, then click Next.

  5. Confirm the tenant, then click Next.

  6. Confirm the general details, then click Next.

  7. Fill out the payment details, then click Next.

  8. Confirm the notice period, then click Next.

  9. Review the agreement. If you'd like to adjust the agreement click on Manage Sections. If you're satisfied with the agreement you can click Save and Download to save the document to the platform, or click Send for Signature to send the document to the tenant directly.

  10. After the document is saved you will be taken to a form to update the tenancy details.

  11. Change the Rolling Tenancy section to Yes.

  12. Review the rest of the details and click Update Tenancy Details.

Property Compliance Certificates Section

This card organizes safety documents and certificates into independent tables for each type: Gas Certificate, Electrical Check (EICR), PAT, Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), HMO License, and Building Insurance Policy.

Update an Expiry Date:

  1. Click on Update Expiry Date.

  2. In the modal, review the pre-populated certificate type and address, and input the new expiry date, then click Save.

Update a Certificate:

  1. Click on Update Certificate.

  2. Upload the document for the certificate.

  3. If the platform is able to, it will extract the expiry date and the certificate number from the document. If it's not able to, fill the expiry date and the certificate number.

  4. Click Save Certificate.
