ELA Assesslets - Accessing Rubrics & Exemplars After Administration

Follow these steps to find rubrics and exemplars once the administration window has closed, giving you insight into scoring expectations as you review results.

How to Access Rubrics & Exemplars After Administration

  1. In the left menu, click Reports.

  2. In the top bar, select the Assesslet Activities tab.

  3. Locate the Assesslet column you need and click the Reports icon next to your district, school, or name.

  4. Run the Actions Analysis Report.

  5. Find the Extended Response item and click the underlined action:

    • Action #4 for Grades 3, 5, 8, and 10

    • Action #9 for Grades 4, 6, and 7 on the PLUS version

  6. A preview of the item will appear. Scroll to the bottom and click Show More.

  7. In the new right panel, click the underlined title of a rubric to open all rubrics attached.

  8. Another right-side panel will open showing the exemplar and descriptors for each rubric. Scroll down to see them all.

  9. (Optional) Use the Print button to print the rubrics, or the Open in Tab button to expand them in a full-screen tab.
