You no longer need to manually download images from Leonardo.Ai and upload them to Canva. Our newest feature, Edit in Canva, lets you add images you've generated in Leonardo.Ai directly to your Canva account with one click, taking your creations further. Read on to learn how.

How to use Edit in Canva

In Leonardo.Ai, Generate or find an image you want to edit, then click on it to open the modal with menu bar options.
In the right menu bar, click Edit in Canva to open the drop down menu for different ways to edit in Canva, including Magic Layers.

Note that if it's your first time sending an image to Canva, you'll be prompted to sign in to your Canva account.

Your image will now appear in Canva as a new design. From here, you can continue refining your image in Canva, adding text, elements, backgrounds, and more!

Do I need a Canva account to use Edit in Canva?

Yes, you’ll need an active Canva account. You do not need a paid account on Canva or Leonardo.Ai to use this feature. If you don't have one, you can sign up for free at canva.com.

Is this feature available on all Leonardo.Ai plans?

Edit in Canva is available to all individual Leonardo.Ai users. It is not currently available for Teams users.

I’m seeing “Oops! We can't find that page" or "Couldn't find image" in Canva after clicking Edit in Canva. What do I do?

This usually means the image was sent to a different Canva account than the one you're currently logged into. This can happen if you have two Canva accounts (eg. a personal account and a work account) and the one connected to Leonardo.Ai is not the one currently open in your browser.

Can I send multiple images to Canva at once?

At this stage, sending multiple images or a generation batch to Canva is not possible, they will need to be sent one at a time.
