Introduction to Social Sharing
We're excited to introduce social sharing functionality to Leonardo.Ai You can now share your image and video assets directly from the platform, making it easier to showcase your creations with the world.
This guide will clarify the types of images that can and can't be shared from Leonardo.Ai directly to social media.
What can be shared
✅ Public Generated Images (Safe for Work)
Images marked as public
Content that is safe for work (not NSFW)
Created without image guidance or reference features
✅ Team Public Images (Safe for Work)
Team-created images marked as public
Available when you have team owner or admin permissions
Content that meets safe-for-work requirements
✅ Private Images Turned Public
Images originally created as private that you've later made public
What Cannot Be Shared
❌ Private Images
Any image with private status
Personal or private generations, regardless of content
❌ Images Using Image Guidance/Reference
Images created with Style Transfer
Images created with Content Transfer
Images created with Face Transfer (Character Reference)
Images created with ControlNet (Image guidance) features
❌ NSFW Content
Images flagged as "Not Safe for Work"
Content exceeding moderation thresholds for adult, suggestive, or inappropriate material
❌ Blueprint Generations
Images or videos created with Blueprints. Blueprint sharing is coming soon in a future update.
Sharing 'View-Only' links
For all other users
Users can use the 'Copy URL' button for their own reference only. The linked image will not be visible to anyone else, and they will see a 404 error message.
For Teams users
Teams users can use the 'Copy URL' button to share content with other team members. The linked image will not be visible to anyone else outside of the team, and they will see a 404 error message. Social sharing buttons are not available for Teams accounts at this time.

Images created using Style Transfer, Content Transfer, Face Transfer, or ControlNet cannot be shared to protect intellectual property and ensure responsible use of reference-based generation features.

Visual indicators are coming soon to help you identify which images can and cannot be shared, including NSFW flags. In the meantime, if an image cannot be shared, the sharing option will not be available.
