Business names are stored on the business profile. To fix a misspelled or wrong name, open that business from the Businesses tab and edit the name field on the profile. The business profile is the source of the name, so correcting it there is the right place to fix it.
Why a duplicate business appears
A new business profile is created when you type a brand new business name during deal creation. If a small typo created a second entry, edit the correct one so it is right, and use the archive flow to tidy the stray entry away.
If the name will not update
Send us the business name as it should read and the name currently showing, and we will fix it on our side.
