How long do lenders usually take to respond, and what happens if one doesn't respond?

Expected turnaround by product type, and your options when a lender goes quiet on a file.

Written by Kaylan Pepin

Response times are set by the lender and the loan product, not by the platform. MCA and working capital deals through integrated lenders tend to come back fastest. Bank and SBA products run longer. Ask the lender what their turnaround is on a file like yours, because that is the number you can actually hold them to.

Click through the walkthrough above to see where submission status and the deal room sit, then use the options below.

If a lender goes quiet

You are not stuck waiting on a single option. You can:

  1. Message them in the deal room.

  2. Submit the same packaged deal to other matched lenders. Because the package is already assembled, sending it to a second lender is much faster than putting a package together by hand.

  3. Use one of your own external lenders instead.

  4. Flag it to us. Email contact@levr.ai with the deal name and the lender name, or message us in the chat, and we will chase it or help you reroute.
