If you are using the Website or WebApp on your Mobile/PC/Laptop:

First, check on your PC/Laptop browser if you have given microphone permission, and if not you can try these steps:

  • Open "Settings" on your device.

  • Navigate to "Privacy" or "Security & Privacy" settings.

  • Find and select "Microphone" from the list of permissions.

  • Toggle the switch to enable access to the desired apps or programs.

After that give the following steps a try:

  • Update the app to the latest version. (If any)

  • Check for a toast notification at the bottom of the screen after the update. (If any)

  • If the issue persists, try opening the app in incognito mode.

  • Clear the cache from the browser, if you are using the browser to access Leya

  • Log out and then log in again.

Advanced steps for mobile phone users:

  • If you are using the WebApp please try reinstalling it

  • Check the volume buttons

  • Check your internet connection

  • Please note, that you need to give access to the microphone before using Leya AI on the WebApp.

  • In case you are using the push button then after Leya finishes speaking, you need to hold the push button and talk after 2-3 seconds.

  • You can change to Hands-free option for talking to Leya if the push button is not working properly.

  • Please note that our WebApp is built to work with Chrome, Edge, Opera, and Safari browsers. Make sure you have updated the browser.
