Selecting the right genre helps readers discover your story more easily. It’s an important step in the upload process and ensures your work reaches the right audience.
When Do I Choose the Genre?
You’ll be asked to select a genre during the third stage of the uploading process.
What Genre Options Are Available?
When selecting a genre for your manuscript, you’ll first choose from one of our main Collections (Fiction, Non-Fiction, or Children’s). Each Collection contains specific genres relevant to that category.
For example, you cannot select the "Non-Fiction" Collection and pair it with a "Literary Fiction" genre, as these belong to different categories.
Please note: You can select one Collection only, followed by up to four genres within that Collection. This helps ensure your manuscript is accurately categorised and reaches the right audience.
