Once you find a manuscript that interests you, previewing it is straightforward.

  • Simply hover over the manuscript’s cover or title, then click to open its full page. Here, you’ll see:

    • the cover image

    • the manuscript's title

    • the author’s name

    • the "story about the story" button

The "story about the story" lets you go further than just a sample of the manuscripts or its chapters, you can also explore what inspired the author to create the story or even to begin writing. This feature gives you a chance to connect more deeply with the manuscripts by learning about the author’s journey and creative process.

Scrolling down the manuscript’s page, you’ll reach the About section.

  • This usually includes a short paragraph that describes the manuscript or author much like the blurb you’d find on the back of a physical manuscript. Here, you’ll also see a “Read showcase chapters” button. Clicking this will take you directly to the chapters that are currently available to read on the platform.

Further down the page, you’ll find a comments section.

  • This is where you can share your thoughts or feedback with the author and other readers. Please remember to be respectful treat others on the platform as you would in person. Libraro does not allow hate speech, comments that go against our community guidelines may be removed and in serious cases, user accounts may be restricted or banned.
