Resolving Video Playback Issues, Accessing Purchased Videos, and Understanding Content Availability Policies
This guide provides solutions for common video playback issues, explains account-specific access policies for purchased videos, and outlines content availability policies.
Troubleshooting Video Playback Issues
If you are experiencing issues with video playback, such as videos not loading or timing out, follow these steps:
Clear Your Browser's Cache and Cookies: This often resolves playback errors. If you need help, refer to your browser's instructions for clearing cache and cookies.
Sync Your Device Clock: Ensure your device's clock is correctly synced. An unsynced clock can cause playback errors.
Watch Videos to Completion: To ensure a video is marked as completed, watch it until the very last second. Stopping playback even slightly before the end may prevent the system from registering completion.
Account and Access Policies for Purchased Videos
Access to purchased videos is tied to the account used for the purchase. To view the videos:
Log in to the purchaser's account on my.lifeway.com/digital-media or the Lifeway OnDemand App.
Note that access is not automatically shared with other accounts. The purchaser must log in to provide access.
Time-Limited Access and Content Availability
Some video content has time-limited access policies:
Simulcasts: For example, the "Going Beyond" simulcast is available for 30 days from the event date. After this period, it will no longer be accessible in your digital library.
Curriculum Updates: Weekly teaching videos for Hyfi Students were discontinued in September 2026. However, other content such as countdown videos, stage game videos, and monthly animated worship videos remain available.
By following these guidelines, you can resolve playback issues, understand access policies, and stay informed about content availability.
